Information We Collect
PuzzleMania is operated by OneMillion. Depending on the features you use, the following information may be processed:
- Account and authentication information: Firebase user ID, display name, email address, authentication provider, and profile/avatar choices.
- Gameplay and profile information: multiplayer room participation, puzzle progress, moves, verified finish times, wins, leaderboard entries, and settings when these features are used.
- Device and app information: browser or WebView type, operating system, app version, language, network information, and device integrity signals used by Firebase App Check where enabled.
- Advertising and consent information: advertising identifiers where permitted, approximate advertising-related information, ad interactions, and consent choices handled by Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
- Diagnostics: technical logs, security events, errors, crash or diagnostic information if generated by the website, Android app, hosting platform, Firebase, or advertising services.
The Android app uses a WebView to load puzzlemania.onemillion.app. Information processed through the WebView is subject to this policy, while Android platform and Google service components may also process information under their own policies.
How We Use Information
- Authenticate users and maintain PuzzleMania accounts.
- Provide local and online gameplay, multiplayer rooms, profiles, verified results, and leaderboards.
- Synchronize game state, prevent cheating, enforce rate limits, and protect users and services from fraud or abuse.
- Remember settings and consent choices and improve reliability and performance.
- Display, measure, and manage ads where advertising is enabled.
- Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
Ads and Third-Party Services
PuzzleMania uses Google services that may process information on our behalf or under their own terms:
- Firebase Authentication for account sign-in.
- Cloud Firestore, Firebase Hosting, and Cloud Functions for Firebase for profiles, gameplay services, data storage, and server-side validation.
- Firebase App Check, including reCAPTCHA Enterprise on the web and supported Android integrity providers, to help reject unauthorized clients.
- Google AdMob to display and measure ads in the Android app. AdMob may use device information and advertising identifiers where legally allowed and consistent with your consent choices.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request, store, and communicate advertising consent choices where required.
Google's handling of data is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies / Local Storage
The website and Firebase may use cookies, browser storage, IndexedDB, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, preserve sound and game preferences, remember tutorial state, support security controls, and retain consent choices. You can clear website data in your browser or Android settings, but doing so may sign you out and reset local preferences.
Account Deletion and Data Retention
You can delete your account while signed in by opening PuzzleMania, going to Settings, selecting Delete Account, and completing the confirmation. If you cannot sign in or have uninstalled the app, follow the public instructions on the Delete Account page.
Deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account and associated PuzzleMania profile, user statistics, highscores/leaderboard entries, room membership and progress, and other records directly linked to the Firebase user ID. Shared match records are sanitized to remove the deleted user identifier. Legacy chat/report records, if any exist from earlier versions, are also removed when linked to the deleted user.
Children’s Privacy
PuzzleMania is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum digital-consent age required in their country. We do not knowingly request personal information from children below the applicable age. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information can contact us to request review and deletion.
User Choices
- Use available consent controls to manage personalized advertising choices where required.
- Manage cookies and local website data through browser or device settings.
- Sign out or delete your PuzzleMania account from Settings.
- Request account deletion or ask a privacy question by email.

Changes to This Policy
